It Takes Time, But It Is Oh So Effective
Thursday, 09 December 2010 23:43

It's the time of year when we reach out to friends, neighbors, family and clients. It's a wonderful time to express thanks and appreciation to others. In business, it's tradition to give "higher level" clients gifts of appreciation. Of course, not all businesses are in the financial position to express their appreciation in that manner, especially if you are a small business owner.

A great way to differentiate yourself and your business, during the holiday season, is to send your clients handwritten notes of thanks and appreciation. Of course, this is an "old fashion" and more time consuming way of communicating rather than sending preprinted holiday cards, but the impression that it makes is more authentic and sincere. Handwritten notes are received differently because they are so rarely sent in business anymore.

Enjoy the holidays.
