| Social Media an Extraordinary Business Tool, but Face to Face Communicaton is Key |
|
Internet communications (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc) have changed the way business is conducted. In todays business world, it has become almost "mandatory" to have a presence on these sites. The obvious advantages of using these sites are, additional ways to efficiently market, linking others to our websites as well as opportunities for us to increase "quick" introductions with others of mutual interest. The downside is an increasing tendency to rely on social media as a major form of business marketing and networking. However, we need to make and take time for face to face interactions because those have a greater chance of building meaningful, trusted and long-term relationships. These types of business and personal relationships are the real keys for success. |
